Unfortunately, sometimes happens that they fly away and never come back.
Skies take them...

true, true....so, on one side this is a sad painting...but it's great one too!

i see something secret in there...mind telling me why did you paint some grass with mushrooms in the middle of the lane?

This is now even more expressive because of MH370 and that the Boeing 777 looks just like that...

Another suiting song would be: The National - Runaway.

I've posted this on my newly resurrected tumblr page (art.medox.ro).
This won't the the last picture from you that I post, that's for sure :) amazing work!

Brilliant colors and clean lines. It's a beautiful piece, and deserves a DD of its own.:)

My great-grandfather died inside a plane in the 1920s, shot down by the Moroccan rebels he was fighting. His plane's fuel tank got hit, and the whole plane subsequently went ablaze.
This art made me think of him not only because of the reference to sky accidents (I believe you intended this to focus more on lost civil planes, but for me it fits too for warplanes), but also since the yellowish place the plane is taking off to made me think of an inferno, hidden behind the clouds...
