Your use of color in this is horrendously appealing. There's a sort of synergy between the bold colors, the bold strokes, and the bold contrasting between each of the three 'scenes' for each color layer. It's almost as each layer is a self-contained illustration in its own right. I'm not sure than the ship holds up as well as the rest of the image - it doesn't seem to be laid down as confidently, but the rest is more than appealing. Part of me even feels that it might be more interesting without the ship at all.

Thanks for posting, was a great piece of visual candy to pop up in my inbox!
