In images such as these.... used in works to be sold... what about the copyright of the objects inserted or of their images? I mean, I can browse the internet for cupboards and other smaller junk but that doesn't mean I can just take it and use it.
I am no expert on that but I unless there is some free pool of such "assets" how on earth do you know you can just take that carpet and insert it here in your work?

So how do artist, who do this kind of thing constantly, work? Where and how to find the necessary images?

Wow)) It looks like the room in the Russian Kurchatov Institute where I've university practic. There was TOKAMAK researches in soviet times :)
